The GY & Sons Story

From a bold vision founded upon the dreams of Chairman Mr. Gamal Younos to an internationally recognized conglomerate.

GY & Sons Group Holdings came into being as an enterprise founded upon the bold vision and aspirations of our Chairman, Mr. Gamal Younos. The company was established in the late 2010s with its primary office in the Sultanate of Oman, created with a profound mandate: to aid nations across the globe and empower their people on a collective journey toward sustainable growth and a brighter future.

Driven by an unrelenting commitment to offer the best, we brought together top-tier technical expertise from around the world all while actively prioritizing direct employment, vocational empowerment, and skill transfer for local host communities. We were certain from day one that building up from genuine grassroots foundations — pairing strong community trust with international execution capabilities — would work wonders.

The initial years of perseverance and dedicated focus gave way to steady, resilient growth. By 2019, disciplined execution, patience, and punctual contract delivery propelled GY & Sons into recognition among the world’s top-tier holdings groups. Through balanced public-private partnerships (PPPs) and private commercial ventures, we aimed squarely at the sustainable development and upliftment of humanity — establishing our footprint across education, healthcare, hospitality, tourism, and sovereign civic facilities.

In 2020, the Group decided to grow boldly beyond regional borders. Gathering an elite executive crew, we established our presence on international soil. By the early 2020s, our operations expanded across South Africa, Namibia, the Kingdom of Eswatini, Sudan, Egypt, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Nigeria, and the Sultanate of Oman.

Come 2022 and beyond, GY & Sons Group Holdings stands as a globally integrated company with enduring accomplishments. Supporting every facet of human life that advances mankind, our active portfolio commands large-scale civil infrastructure development, mining concessions, modern agribusiness and mega-farming, petroleum refining, and bulk international commodities trade. It has never been an easy journey, yet we have continually advanced, motivated by the aspiration of the common man seeking security and prosperity. Promising a reliable and transformative partnership in today’s world, GY & Sons Group Holdings is deeply indebted to every employee, stakeholder, and partner who journeys with us as we reshape global perceptions of development.
