Phase II covers 2,400 km of dual-carriageway, linking Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. The project incorporates smart traffic management systems, solar-powered street lighting, and rest areas with logistics hubs — transforming regional trade connectivity and opening economic corridors for millions of people.
