Project Overview & Agronomic Scope

Modern commercial agriculture requires balanced, multi-nutrient soil amendments tailored to local geological and agronomical conditions. Under official executive submission to His Excellency Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika and the Office of the President & Cabinet (Reference: GYS-HO/LOE01/MG-MW), GY & Sons Holding (through GY & Sons Trading Limited) is executing a sovereign trade agreement to deliver 200,000 Metric Tons of NPK 23-10-5+6S+1Zn Complex Fertilizer throughout the year to the Republic of Malawi.

Unlike standard blended fertilizers, this specialized complex incorporates primary macronutrients (Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium) together with essential secondary and micronutrients: 6% Sulfur (SO₃) for enzymatic synthesis and plant protein formation, and 1% Chelated Zinc (Zn) to counteract chronic zinc deficiencies pervasive in Sub-Saharan African soils. This formula delivers rapid vegetative acceleration, robust root establishment, and heightened drought resistance for Malawi's staple maize, legume, tobacco, and oilseed harvests.

Because Malawi is a landlocked nation, GY & Sons manages the complete international shipping and intermodal logistics chain. Supramax dry bulk carriers discharge cargo under CIF terms at the Port of Beira, Mozambique, where shipments undergo independent SGS/Bureau Veritas certification, automated bagging into durable 50kg moisture-sealed sacks and 1.5 MT bulk totes, and immediate bonded transit by rail and highway straight into agricultural depots across Lilongwe and Blantyre.

Agronomic Advantages & Logistics Infrastructure

Micronutrient Zinc Fortification

1% water-soluble chelated zinc stimulates growth hormones (auxins), prevents chlorosis, and boosts grain filling in maize and cereal crops.

6% Sulfur for Oilseeds & Proteins

High sulfur content is essential for nitrogen utilization efficiency and oil production in soybeans, groundnuts, and sunflower cultivation.

Port of Beira Quayside Offtake

Streamlined deepwater vessel berthing at Beira Port, Mozambique, with bonded quayside warehousing and high-capacity conveyor discharge.

Mega Farm Direct Supply

Direct integration with Malawi's 40,000-Ha Mega Farm zones and national agricultural extension programs to guarantee yield maximizations.
